HeTaller en Accion during COVID-19a

Latest message: April 1, 2020

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis signed an Executive Order urging Floridians to stay home to help curb the spread of the Coronavirus. The order goes into effect Thursday night and expires on April 30, 2020, unless extended by subsequent order.

Based on this new development, we will extend remote work until at least Saturday May 2, 2020. Remote learning is already in effect through May 10th. We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as we are able.

Our Talent Festival originally scheduled for April 19th, 2020 has been postponed.  As all FIU School of Music concerts and events scheduled through the spring semester are cancelled and will be rescheduled to a later date, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.  The decision has been made out of an abundance of caution with the health and well-being of the community in mind.

In the meantime, we invite you to connect with us on our social media outlets, and we will be reaching out via e-mail to our sponsors and performers. Thank you for being a part of our family, and we look forward to seeing you again. Stay safe.
